Sea Hearts from www.seaheart.com will vary in size and shape and we do not guarantee that yours will be a perfect heart shape. However we do try and grant all wishes so feel free to use our comment section or e-mail us if you have any particular sea heart request. Each Sea Heart has been polished and chosen for their individual beauty and character.

All Sea Hearts were found in the jungle before they wash out to sea. By finding them before the ocean and time have their corrosive affects, insures the best quality and polishing results. Each seed is discovered one by one, usually hidden under layers of rotting leaf matter. It takes three people searching all day to find a big bag of sea hearts (and a few Horse eyes too!)

After cleaning and sorting and rejecting about 40% of the seeds due to a poor shape or surface quality, we then import and polish a few thousand in large tumbling machines using water and special abrasives in a process that takes about 2 weeks. Polishing enhances the rich grain and unique qualities of the One of a Kind Sea Heart, but what makes the sea heart memorable and a token to be cherished…is your sentiments and wishes that accompany it!

WORLD'S LARGEST SEA HEART CONTEST

The 2005 World's Largest Sea Heart Contest hosted by columnist Dr Gerald Sullivan of The Drifting Seed Newsletter and the society of sea bean collectors (www.seabean.com) has declared the NEW KING for 2005. Dethroning the reigning King from Florida, is a JAMAICAN GIANT sent in by us at www.seaheart.com. The specimen is truly colossal with a height of 58mm x length 69mm x weight of 1.9 oz (53 grams) = size 7,603.8. Last year's champion from Florida was 56 mm x 69 mm x 1.4 oz = 5409.6 total.

Unfortunately our contender for the Worlds Smallest SeaHeart was a bit BIG! Watch out fellow beaners, www.seaheart.com crew is out searching the jungles for that peewee seaheart small enough to be next year's tiniest champion!
